4 new soaps with natural colorants

I had some fun Tuesday night with my natural colorants and various pouring techniques.  The colorants came from Soap Making Resource.  I love that place!!


Olive, Coconut, Shea, Cocoa, Castor.
5% superfat

Colorant:  Activated Charcoal.
Unscented

first poured the non colored soap portion, about 2/3 at medium trace
High pour with the colored portion and
then ran a spatula up and down 
and back and forth in the mold



Olive, Coconut, Shea, Cocoa, Castor.
5% superfat

Colorant: Nettle Powder
Scented with Lime EO and Coconut FO.

First poured the non colored soap portion, medium trace.
At mid to thick trace I gently poured the colored on top.




Olive, Coconut, Shea, Cocoa, Castor.
5% superfat

Colorant: Indigo
Scented with Lavender and Patchouli EO

First poured about 1/2 of the non colored portion in to the mold
Then a light pour with the spatula over top of that
stuck the spatula in the mold after pour and jabbed a few time
up and down.




Olive, Coconut, Shea, Cocoa, Castor
5% superfat

Colorant:  Madder Root Powder
Unscented

In the pot swirl
Poured 5 dots of red into the soap pot.
Dragged the spatula from one spot to another
poured into the mold.
